Each of these pieces is hand-embroidered by a cohort of women in the village of Beit Sahour, adjacent to the city of Bethlehem. Beit Sahour is a majority Christian village, claiming the fields where Jesus was born as their backyard. For the past year, businesses and peoples livelihoods have been stripped away due to a halt in the tourism industry, restrictions on movement, and heavy police action that has placed many in administrative detention.  Each purchase will go directly to the families that are being deeply impacted by this.
